This is our intro post and "About" page. We are a family, of four, whom have caught the Disney fan bug. We have fallen in love with Walt Disney World (and the idea of the other parks), the movies, the collectibles, the music and many of the other things that come from the Mouse. Our interest has grown of the past 14 years, as our family has grown. As our love has grown so has consumption of online fan made content about all things Disney.
That brings us to why we have created this blog. There are three reasons we began this journey. They are:
- We wanted to give back to the community that has given so much to us. Whether it is just enjoying news and art or learning money saving tips and being inspired to make crafts, we love all of the love that makes up the online fan community.
- Encouraging our kids to write more and trying to improve our own writing skills. Often the best way to get better at something is do it. Over and over and over again. (Hopefully it isn't too painful for our readers as we begin).
- Lastly, because we think it will be fun to do.
We are four different people and find different things fun. So there will be all sorts of different posts here. You can expect posts about crafts, both simple and complex. Also I am a geek, so expect posts about personal tech (like phones), DIY projects and even the technology in the parks. We are really serious gamers but expect some posts about that. We don't spend a lot of money on collectibles but we do enjoy bringing the magic into our home and life. All this and much, much more. :)
